CHARLOTTE – U.S. Congressman Robert Pittenger sang a line from Etta James’ “At Last” Wednesday morning as he talked about President Obama’s final State of the Union address to Congress on a Charlotte radio station.

“Finally it’s over,” Pittenger, a Republican from Charlotte told WBT morning host Bo Thompson after briefly crooning. “The man has a different view of success that the rest of the American people… It was interesting to hear him try to laud what he’s done. Inreality, though, we’ve had the most tepid recovery we’ve ever had coming out of a recession.”
